About Me

I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!

But it has not to date facilitated the creation of a lot of “firms” — persistent collections of collaborating individuals who can collectively own the product of their shared efforts and enter into contracts with third parties as a group. Students and faculty of the Institute for Information Law and Policy at New York Law School have sought to address this unexploited opportunity in two ways: (1) the proposal of a new virtual limited liability company Act for consideration by Vermont, and (2) the development of an interface that, in connection with suitable back-end financial systems, could be used by groups to operate, and see the status of a robust online organization.
